I am really wishing I was farther along with all of my intended projects from this winter as our riding season has been going for a few weeks now and I still have not had my boat in the water. I am getting pretty close on all of the general upgrades, but the stereo and the ballast system are severly lacking.
I have upgraded the gauges, added chrome thru hulls, new carbon steering wheel, added a tower mounted anchor light, powder coated the tower black, buffed and polished the hull, all new air graphics, new pin striping, and replaced the horn just to get it back up to par. I also have countless hours pressure washing and scrubbing the vinyl. I still need to polish certain areas of the deck, but that is going to have to wait.
The stereo has got to be finished next. I have run all the wires for the tower speakers and hung the pro 485's but that's it. I have four WS650's and my XXX12 along with a syn 1 and two syn 4s to wire in. Hopefully I can get all that in within the next week or two. I did upgrade the alternator to the 100 amp kit and install two of the 65 series Odyssey batteries for juice. The ballast will remain manual for at least another month unfortunately. That will be a whole other thread along with a stereo thread.
Here are some progress photos........

Is power washing safe on interior? Just h20? What washer u using? Safe on cover? Sick boat. Did u get xxx or xs12?

Power washing the carpet is totally safe. I have never washed the vinyl that way so I cant vouch for that. I usually use starbrite vinyl cleaner and or Zep vinyl cleaner with great results. I did get a XXX. Actually it is a left over from the last boat. I would not pressure wash a cover either. I would be too worried it would weaken the fabrics ability to breath and still be waterproof. Thanks for the props. I am pretty proud of this one. Cant wait to have that 502 pin my ears back.

Nice work brad. We'll be doing a lot of the same projects this year. You are a bit ahead if me though. I need to install analog gauges, perfect pass, and the natui logic gps, move my amps, tower speakers and ws-420 over from the 99 air, add a battery, install the 100 amp alternator, install wake racks, do something about a Bimini, and clean the carpets... Oh and then install the ballast system and maybe next year a fresh air exhaust. Just a few little projects

You can gently pressure wash the cover. If you get too aggressive, you will put holes in it.
Do not pressure wash the cover on the boat. The dirt will go into the boat. Trust me on this.

Dang, that steering wheel looks pretty sick. Where'd you score that?
B/C do you still have your other boat? I don't remember seeing it for sale.

Crad,
I sold the old boat last october. It was sold locally so that is probably why you did not remember it.
Jhiestand,
I got the wheel off of ebay. Its a Dino wheel just like the factory one. They pop up fairly often you just have to be quick as they dont last long if they are a buy it now add. I think I gave close to $60 for this one.
