2006-2007 stereo setup for tema editions

Have anybody an electric drawning of the CC's Team Edition setup with the extra amp for tower speakers?
I know that the 480 amp is for the sub and 4 interior speakers and that the 280 amp is for the tower speakers. But I like to see how CC connecting them.

I have been wondering the same thing. Are all six speakers running off of two channels on the 480 and the sub off of the other two? If so what ohm level are the speakers and the sub and how is the resistance being controlled. The main reason for me is I ordered a second 480 to run the Skylon tower speakers. It is my thought that I will want one more amp to run the sub. Should have my boat in about 9 days and let you know what I find out

You better check the bow speakers. They are usually connected to the head unit not the amp. If you turn it up loud and they sound bad up front it's because they are under powered. I had mine rewired. I have an amp for the sub, an amp for the tower and an amp for the interior speakers. Plus an extra bazooka tube under the dash. Just shy of 1500 watts.

Not sure how the factory setup is wired but here is how I think it should be wired...

480 = 4 channel amp - four main cabin speakers hooked in parallel to the rear channels, two bow speakers hooked to the front channels

280 = 2 channel amp - hooked to the tower speakers

The sub should have it's own class D amplifier. Another option would be to replace the 280 with another 480 and wire the sub to the rear channels and the tower to the front channels.

Myrtlebeachrider, I was able to get the boat on Saturday and you were correct about the stereo. The fronts were wired to the radio, the four rears were wired in parallel to one 480 channel 1&2, the sub was wired to the same 480 channel 3&4 bridged by 1, the Rubicon 450’s were wired to the other 480 channel 1&2. The first thing I had time to do was bridge the second 480 X 2 making the left Tower speaker Channel 1/2 and the right Tower speaker 3/4. The first thing I have noticed is even in this configuration the tower speakers were distorting at higher volumes, a sign of being under powered. The sub did not sound too bad after I lowered the crossover point down to about 55. The other interesting observation was that they did not use the non fading output on the radio for the sub. Plan of action: I am going to order a Zapco SP4-SL but also thinking about Audio Control (some products have six channels in and eight out). I want to have the preamp for better control and to boost the voltage. The other item that I think is necessary is another amp for running the tower speakers vs. the sub. This would allow me to break the rear speakers apart on one 480 and run the front pair and sub on the other 480. With the preamp I was looking at making the front output control the six speakers in the boat, the sub out for the sub and the rear out for the Tower speakers. Want to turn the tower speakers down separately front the rest of the system, even though about adding a relay to the tower speaker so I could switch them off for the dash. Please let me know what you are thinking because I am a car audio person and do not know anything about the acoustics of a boat. Also what about the other amp, I need something with good RMS power, would love a PPI amp but think I need to go marine

Two last thoughts
1: Is the sub 4 ohm. Single voice coil?
2: Where are the crossover networks for the component speaker?
