I can't even figure out HOW they did this. Sorcery isn't even a strong enough word. I'm working on the upholstery piping on this panel in my 2003 206 and thought "I'll have a look at how the speaker replacement will be".
So - there is a screw at 12 o'clock and about 5 o-clock that are accessible from the back side and when removed don't seem to do anything. The 4 screws that hold the speaker are obviously from the front side, and as far as I can see, some sort of magic occurred to get the fabric grill in place after the speaker, assuming they somehow mounted the speaker from the front (can't see how they could do it from the back).
So - I hear a lot of people cut the fabric and took the speaker out the front, which may be the only option. Is that the case? And because I'm curious, how did they get it in there the first time, then get the fabric over it?
