2000 Air Nautique radio won't turn on.

I bought a 2000 Air Nautique that I'm getting sorted out. The radio won't turn on. It's a Clarion M502 which I'm guessing is aftermarket. I've checked the fuses on the cables coming off of the battery and they're both fine. I tried pulling the radio out and testing with a volt meter to see if it's getting power. I can't get the radio to come out. Any idea what kind of tools I need to get this thing to slide out?

Any other suggestions on figuring out what's wrong with the radio?

It would be a lot easier to help with this type of question if you added pictures to your post. Based on what I could find on the Interweb, this would appear to be a standard single Din stereo. You'll need to determine which method of installation was used but typically it's locked in place by tabs in the mooning bracket. To remove you will need the installation tools that slide down a slot in the mounting bracket which release the tabs. To get to these you will need to remove the trim ring as outlined below. As outlined below there is also an option to use screw in the mounting bracket as well. I would start with the tab option first then if no joy, look for the screws. Here's a couple links I used to get this information....
