    custom 220 set ups?

We are about to tackle a set-up in our new 220, 4 amps, 2-15" subs, extra remote, six stacker, cap, eminece compresion horns, and new clarion i pod compliant head unit.

Has anyone done one or got pics of their set ups?

sounds like a nice setup..couple of questions..

-where are the horn drivers going (boat or tower ? i would assume tower).
-why the clarion ? there are alot better head units. the clarion is sorely lacking in all departments except for the remote.
    -plan on adding a 2nd alternator ?
    - 2 - 15' subs... whoa... where are you going to put them ?

the horns will be on the tower.

We have a deal with clarion.

no second alt, have never had a problem with the prevous set ups (saying that we only ran 1 15" and 1 10".) thats why we run a cap and twin battery setup.

the 15's will be in the clamshell locker, plently of literage there, around 80 for each ported box (thats 4.5 cubic feet each, the subs only need 1.5 cubic feet unported.

clubmyke, is it your 211 with the cooler opening in the walkthrough converted to a grill, if so we stole your idea and are doing the same thing, thanks!

nope.... not my 211... i was seriously considering dropping in 2 image dynamics idmax 12's with the cooler cutout like the pic but i cant give up the storage...the wife won this on this one (we really do need the storage)

will be dropping in 2 image dymanics idq12's under the jump set facing down in a sealed enclosure.. it looks like we will have to build a new larger jump seat to accomadate them (very tight fit).. i really wish the 211 had some room somewhere for a sub box..

btw, i heard the new b&c pro drivers and they are very, very good..if i wasnt already running the selenium hcld on the towers, i think they are the way to go...

which sub's & amps will you be running ?

Dave why are you worrying about the 6 disk stacker? As the new head unit has better Ipod capability, can search through by artist etc just like on the ipod. No need for crappy playlists

The gear has arrived. I have just finished making the sub boxes, amp racks and finishing trim. Now for the install.

The boxes are made from 3/4" boat board (plastic). I made a frame with removable rain cover door, to match the existing walkthrough cooler door
