I was thinking of getting my 7.7 JL Audio tower speaker cans painted to match the midnight blue color of my G23. I have been seeing more and more of these cans painted to match the boat vs the stock black and silver cans. Just wondering how difficult the cans were to remove off of the actual speakers and whether anyone else had their speaker cans painted to match their boat color after making the boat purchase.

I love the red speaker cans on the G23 2018 solid white demo boat on the Action Water Sports web site located in Arizona

N3 Boatworks did that for me on my 08’ 230...... painted the polk cans and added a single led under each and wired them to the courtesy lights. Paint and added lights looked and worked perfect for the 8 years I owned it and still look and work good for its new owner today.
I removed the spoke grills on my G23 and had them painted to match he boat as well as the painted wheels on the trailer.

I think wrapping them would be hard to achieve since the cans are cylindrical. I see painting them as the only option if I want to change the color unless I'm missing something here.Originally posted by Wake.BC View Post

Just looked the process up on the internet. This looks like the way to go. I just need to find a provider who does this kind of work as well as getting them the matching color. I may check with Roswell Marine to see if I can mail them my speaker cans since I know they already have the matching Nautique paints since I already got my Triton board racks painted by them to match my boat color.Originally posted by MLA View PostHyrdo-dip wrap
