The photo is of a 2003 SN. It was pre-wired for a stereo, but in the driver area there is no where to install a speaker. You can see in the photo attached that where the speaker should be installed is a cubby hole. Is there a interior piece I can purchase and swap that would have the speaker mount instead of a cubby? If not, any ideas of where/how to install a speaker in that area without having to fabricate a box?

My 03 has the 6.5" in the kick panel as well. Totally useless for actually hearing anything. The previous years (00-02) has them in an area like the cubby you show. I use the cubby for wallet and cell phone.

Is that sub going to be a free air sub or a sealed sub? A free air sub would probably cause sound issues with the speaker. I'm planning on putting a 10" sealed sub under there on my 03 210. It's tight on space, but doable.Originally posted by kwas911 View PostOk, thanks! Is that kickpanel strong enough to hold a 6.5" speaker and a 10" sub? I assume the kickplate can be removed to access the space behind it?
