Stereo on at startup automatically

We just took delivery of our 2015 G23 about a week ago and have been out a few times. One thing I noticed immediately is that I have to turn the stereo on everytime we start up. Is there an option somewhere to tell the stereo to come on when the linc system is activated? Right now I have to go to the stereo settings and hold the button to power up the stereo. It's not the end of the world but if I can automate this I'd like to.

joe- i have the exact opposite of that. everytime i power on the link, my stereo comes on. i have the most up to date flash of the link. i would rather how it your way. i was told all the 15's with newest flash of link are this way.

I'll look through the manual more closely to see if I can find anything more. If not I'll follow up with the dealer.

There is a default volume setting in the system settings menu (can not remember exactly which sub menu) for the stereo. It may also determine if stereo is on. I believe on my 13 the stereo on/off state returns to what is ahas on when the boat was shut down. But not sure what it does if you turn off the batteries.

Just checked my 15 G21 the other day and my stereo powers on automatically after I enter my code and push start once. Same as Whitetail15

I hate that. If i want the radio , i can turn it on. Why would they do that?

I've paid more attention to mine. I don't have a code on the ignition...I just turn on the battery switch and push the start button. My radio comes on, connects to my phone via BT and starts playing music, then turns off. Ha...I have the worst of both worlds. Not a big deal...but I'd actually rather just have it come and stay on. And I'd really rather be able to choose whether powering up the boat turns the stereo on or not. I have not looked through the manual or the LINC screens to see if there is a setting for this....
