Wet Sounds REV 410s possibly for sale!

I am not a stereo expert by any means, by the way.

I purchased my current SANTE 210 from another forum member and he had spent quite a bit of cash on the stereo. It sounds great, but I have to lower my tower to get the boat in my boat house and I think these are adding alot of weight. It has 2 sets of these on my FCT and it takes my son and I to handle it.

    1) What do these weigh?
    2) Any offers on them? I think they retail for $1200 each.
    3) What should I buy to replace them?

    Thanks for the help.

I don't know the weight, but they have to be heavy. If weight is a concern and you still want loud and good sound, I'd just go one pair Rev10. That's what I have and it's very easy to lower (...and my wife can do it, though that's on the edge mainly because of height...I have a Titan tower).

I would say mine weight about 40lbs each so about 80lbs for the pair. Let me get this straight... Is it 2 sets as in 4 pods total, or 1 pair as in 2 pods total? If 4 total pods, you should be able to remove 2 of them and still have more than enough sound for your liking. If it is 2 pods, then like mentioned earlier, replace with some Rev10s. What amp is powering them?

They are black. It is 2 total pods. I was finally able to get on the Wetsounds website and it shows the weight at 48lbs each, so basically I have an extra 100 lbs on the tower. I'm not sure what the amp is, the boat is at my weekend lake house.

rev10s are 38lbs each so a 410 has to be at least 60lbs.

Shipping weight on one pair Rev10 = 34lbs....that's what's on the box and that's what UPS weighed when I shipped a pair. So, probably 32lbs per pair on the tower.
