I had the opportunity to hear some wetsounds from behind yest. Wow they live up to the hype. The boat pulled away and at 500 yards I could still hear it well enough to sing along. So if anyone wants to donate a pair to me, that would be great.

If that is true, I'm sure there is some irritated boat and home owners who don't like to be forced to listen to someone's music!2013 G23 super air

People at my lake B**ch and complain at me if I have hip hop on, but want it louder if it is something they enjoy (like country or oldies). I am tired of hypocritical people making stupid complaints. You can't say it is ok to play one kind of music loud and another kind not loud (as long as someone is not playing music with cursing loud, then you would have a complaint). My thoughts on loud music are.......It is ok to play loud as long as it is not late at night, does not havie cursing, and is coming through a good sounding system without distortion. if you want peace and quite, move to the mountains not the lake where people are out having fun. BTW, sorry to highjack the thread.....AND keep rocking on WETSOUNDS!

i personally try not to play vulgar rap over the tower, but sometimes it just has to happen. i agree, if you don't like people enjoying themselves on the water you probably shouldn't live there, or build yourself a private lake. it's god's water.Last edited by hourglass; 05-03-2010, 09:45 PM.

BTW was you username picked because you are describing yourself to others on here? This is a community for Nautique friends not a dating network. Jsut kidding but you see my point now on making racist comments that have nothing to do with the topic. I am sure your username is probably linked to how much you like Harley Davidson's or something like that. Not trying to be an a** just trying to prove a point.Current: 08 Super Air 210 Team

I love this post..... Vent it out there, you will all feel better.
I like all music, always have, but I gain a better Appreciation for "Rap" music after I watched the movie 8 Mile with Emeinem (i think I spelled that right). For all you people who don't like Rap, rent the movie
I admit, I watch the selection of music I play based on the ages in and around the boat. When I purchased my W/S I realized most people within a 100 yard radius had to listen to the music I was listening to, so I try to watch out of respect!!!!
I did use "Explict Rap" to drive a couple boats away in the past. All tied up in the cove and this pontoon anchors pretty close to the rest of us. We were there first all reflexing. He kept floating into us, then the kids started jumping off the boat getting water in all our boats. We asked nice to move further away and the drunk DAD began to say it is a free lake, which I agree with, but when you have a 20# mushroom Anchor and a 27' Pontoon, we are just looking out for the 200K in ski boat tied together. So I played "DJ Assault" (you can look up the song on Itunes) and the wife looked at us then asked her husband to move the boat. The best part is the kids were loving and dancing to the song.
