Have rode on a Hyperlite Tribute, Ronix, and slingshot. I think my next buy will be a slingshot, unless i get another hyperlite.

Slingshot Response 145. After riding flex I will never ride a conventional board again.

Got a brand new Murray on the way right now. Haven't had a new board in quite awhile, so this will be nice. Hyperlite is great!

          Jeff,
Let me know how you like it and how it rides. I'm looking for a new board also and the Murray was one I'm looking in too! I'm a beginner-intermediate and just wondering if that board would be to much for my stage of riding?

Is flex what they use for cable parks? Why do you like it so much?

              I'm 5'10 185 and ride 137. Should I be riding longerr?

^^^ You could ride a bigger board. I'm 5'9" 180 and started riding a LF S4 142 this season. The biggest difference I've noticed with the big board (I had a 132 before) is that the landings are softer and it feels more stable. It also feels faster than my old board. Some of that is attributed to the shape as well as the size.

Right now I ride a Gator "Militant". I've been riding the same basic shape for about 5 years now through different boards and brands. My slider board is an old Hyperlite "Roam".

People do like flex boards for cable and you can get presses locked in on rails. I have only ridden cable once. I like the snowboard feel of flex boards and think they are just way more all around fun on the water. People usually either hate them or love them, so I would suggest trying one out and see what you think.

Im 6'4 190 and ride a 145. If I were you I would ride something around a 142. Remember a board doesnt know how tall you are, just how much you weigh.

The one, the only, plaid Watson 138 board. I also have a newer Watson carbon X board, but I prefer the classic plaid. I also occassionally ride a fish.

2009 Ronix Covin, 143. By far my favorite board that I've ridden. It's fast, light, holds an edge well and has soft landings.

                          Prior boards
LF Balance 138 - Ugh ( I think this is obsolete)
Hyperlite State 140 - Learned better board control with this board. I turned it into my guest board for buddies who haven't ridden much because it's stable.
Hyperlite 3DS - Fast, holds edge, but heavier than the Ronix Covin. Similar design. (Replaced with the Marek, which is a good board too)

2003 Hyperlite Byerly 142. It is my favorite. I have two incase something happens to one of them. I also have a 2009 Byerly Assault 140, and Hyperlite Era 140 (I use this one for winching and sliding). I have ridden many different boards but the 03 Byerly is the best for me.

Slingshot flex is the way to go if you ask me if you like to snowboard you will love these boards! I ride mostly wake and I love the pop and feel you get from these boards. I just rode a Sine wakeboard the other day it was a bit different to get use to super fast and huge pop also a flex board need to ride it some more.
