lightest boot and board setup

LF is really light compared to most other brands. Hyperlite is extremely heavy as well as gatorboards. Not that they don't make a quality product, just heavy. I haven't been able to ride the ronix boards yet, but they say they are pretty light.
Do you have closed toe bindings? I rode a set with them and it made my board feel really heavy while riding.

yeah the shane bindings... i wonder if my board is light and just the boot bindings are whats weighing it down
I really wish i could just find out who makes the lightest setup hands down... i feel my riding would def improve with a lighter setup

My new slingshot is very light, LF ultra suctions are about the lightest binding, that combo would be super light.

my ronix ibest 139/ronix one boots is just a tad lighter than my buddies slingshot response143/pb floyd boots. given the size i'd say it's even though. i put my boots on my 07 era to ride it again and when i picked it up i immediately took the boots off and put it in storage b/c its soo heavy

I wouldn't knock Hyperlite anymore for having heavy boards because they lightened them up a ton in 2008. My 2008 Hyperlite Premier board and Murray boots setup is pretty light. They were definitely super heavy in previous years, but not in 2008.

Then new hyperlite SUB VI is under 6 lbs and it's around 10 lbs with the new murray boots. Carbon fiber technology. Bring your wallet.....

08 LF Watson carbon fiber and 07 RONIX Scouts is a super light, super comfy combo. The new hyperlite board might be lighter than the LF, but the Watson is very light and handles like a dream. I have yet to find bindings even coming close to the feather-weight of the RONIX Scouts, and most of the other bindings I am used to are high-end LF, which are already pretty light. You have to be able to deal with the occassional ridicule for having mocassin bindings, but I get more compliments than rips, and I think they look pretty wicked.

my buddy rides the ronix scouts with a slingshot. It has to be the lightest setup out there. But the slingshot board is very different.
