    06 Air 216 Team

New CC boat owner joins the group. I just took delivery of this 2006 Air Nautique 216 TE with 25 hours last Friday night. I got her wet last Sunday on Deep Creek Lake in Western MD which is where she'll live. It was an awesome day!!

    RE: 06 Air 216 Team

That is an incredible looking boat!! We would like to get a 216 someday, very sharp. How does she ride and handle? Glad you can enjoy her before the season ends.

She rides and handles great. Very solid feel even in rough water and banging over wakes.

Thanks. I read a lot of the posts discussing the differences between the 206 and 216 on this forum prior to test driving both. They were very helpful. I went with the 216 for the additional room for family and friends.

What hull is your 216, is it tsc or tsc2?

I am pretty sure it is the TSC2.

Great looking boat, hope you get lots of use before it gets cold. We love ours, and in a month have put over 20 hours on it. If you get the chance take some photos of the hull, I would love to see what the differnces are.

This is the only pseudo hull pic I have. Unfortunately, due to some dam (not ****) maintenance they are lowering Deep Creek Lake and I pulled the boat last weekend. :-(

I am bummed out big time and will have to wait until late April for the ice to melt b4 I put the boat back in the water. I did get a few hours on the water prior to putting it away.
