One thing I've noticed only recently is how much more they've wrapped the interior in sea-deck. A lot on the vertical surfaces and small areas that were previously bare fiberglass on previous model years.

Actually that was all me, I always try to cover as much of the white fiberglass as I can. It is even under the locker lids to prevent falling when the lid is open.Originally posted by Kmayotte View PostOne thing I've noticed only recently is how much more they've wrapped the interior in sea-deck. That is a beautiful boat! Love the colors!
Can you tell me, did they add some drains in the floor under the cockpit by the captains feet and also under the port flip up seat? My 2020 doesn’t have them and water pools there badly and quickly became a stinking mess. Had to scrub it down with lots of dawn dish soap the other day to get the smell out. Seems like a big miss on nautique’s part imo.

My friend owns that business that does all the seadek here in Central Florida, he measured the very first one they got a few weeks back so my pads were ready when the boat dropped.Originally posted by Kmayotte View Post

Yup they sure did, I had the same problem on my 19 so it was nice to see that solved.Originally posted by Gtsum2 View PostThat is a beautiful boat! Love the colors!

I wondered if they had addressed that. Huge oversight to not have them on pre 2021’s. Thanks and congrats again on a great looking rideOriginally posted by Bottlefedsi View Post

Did they make the vinyl softer with more padding on the 2021s or is it the same as last years model. That is one thing that has me looking at an X22 over the new 2021 even though I love the geometric hull shape. Also how is the surf wave with less weight this year, I think that is going to be an issue, On my G21 we used a shaper to essentially do what Nautique did with the taller NSS this year, It made the wave longer and a little softer with a bigger pocket. This is the first time I have posted on a forum and I am looking for more info from actual 2021 G23 owners, I am looking to order a boat this fall and it is between the X22 and the G23.

I usually get brown interiors so this one being steel blue is obviously cooler but no matter the color they still get pretty hot here in Florida. It is considerably cooler but that could just the lighter color. I would say they are more comfortable than years past and I have had a 18 and a 19 G23. The sure wave to me is awesome but we mostly ride skim so we dont typically want a tall one. It is much longer and more pronounced that the previous hull design but I am going to try and add a few hundred pounds around the boat to see what happens. What I dont like about it compared to my 19 is the new ZZ6 motor is way louder in the cabin under heavy throttle and the communicating storage that runs from the rear lockers to under the midship seats have ballast hoses running through them, this really makes getting larger surf boards in the lockers as I usually use that area for the tip of the board to get it into the lockers, especially as the rear seats took a bit of room from the lockers too. The rear seats and transom area is awesome, i sat in the transom seats of the 2020 and thought they were too upright, they seemed to have fixed that on 2021. You also loose some storage as the floor of the boat has been brought up a bit but we just bought new rubbermade bins and carry less crap with us, other than that the boat is awesome.Originally posted by DanLG21 View PostDid they make the vinyl softer with more padding on the 2021s or is it the same as last years model. Ahh yeah sorry, I think they are more comfortable for sure, You can see how much thicker the bow filler cushion is. The captains chair seems to be the same but the rest of the seating does seem to have a bit more padding.

Bottle....another question...what color is the center section on your tower? I'm trying to decide all white or try to two-tone it to co-ordinate with my interior a little.
