              Here’s a close up of the Medallion gel. It’s a pretty rich gold/brown. Once in direct sunlight it has scattered colors that pop out.

                  Awesome! I love the 230. I think it's one of the best surf boats out there. It doesn't produce a really steep wake, but the length is simply fantastic. There is a VERY extensive thread here on PN about how to ballast it for surfing. It needs additional ballast over the factory (even with the Pro Ballast option) to really surf like it should.

                    I read that several times in detail before even purchasing! Lots of great info. I’m inclined to run it stock (has pro ballast) for the rest of this season then work on adding weight during the winter. Hopefully I’ll have a good understanding of the stock wave and what modifications I want to make. I’m not experienced in surfing, but the stock wave looks pretty nice to me.

                    maybe I’ll do some comparison shots and contribute to the thread.

                            Yep I swapped the bags in the back for wakemaker 650’s and added 500+ in lead bags
