This is my new-to-me 2008 SANTE 220. Can't wait to get her out on the water. Upgrading from a 1995 Malibu Response.
What items do I need to keep an eye on / common issues do these boats have?
Already has a piggyback system. What other up upgrades do I need?

The vinyl if not already torn was the lowest quality ever. If you have any that needs replacement recommend you at least order it sooner than later. Nautique Parts can assist with this. If you did not get a key for the glove box suggest you get one to have as you can inadvertently lock the box with critical items inside when the lid is up. Other than that 2008 was and still is a very good year.

Most likely missing the 12v accessory adapter (cigarette lighter plug ) 2008 is rock solid year. The vinyl is no longer available through nautique parts , C and S Marine is the go to now. Keep and extra ballast impeller on hand . Looks like it’s got a decent stereo. If you surf maybe add the NSS Surf System found in the newer boats. There is a guy here that makes the kits for a 220

Cig lighter plug is there. There is another round hole that has nothing in it

Hey! 2007 220 owner here. Your boat looks nice.

Seadek is my favorite upgrade, along with the stereo, NSS, Bimini, fresh air pipe and too many more things to list or admit to.

Anyway, do the seadek and stereo. Those are used 100% of the time.

Not trying to hijack, but 8urchvy where was the first pic taken. Looks interesting, like a canal between floating houses. Water looks pretty shallow, but very clear.

Both pictures were taken at Parker AZ.

The first was in an area they call “The Keys.” It’s a section of houses off of the Colorado River connected by canals. It’s a pretty cool place. We rent houses there every summer.
