Acquired this boat back in 2011 after 11 years of neglect and salt water use, this boat will most likely never see fresh water. The boat was covered in mold and showed no signs of life. After spending most of the first summer diagnosing the electrical system on the boat I determined a diagnosis. It seems that the exhaust manifolds on the boat had a pin hole causing the boat to hydrolock, however someone continued to try and start it which stripped the ring gear luckily and didnt bend a rod. ID:	586562 After stripping the ring gear they attempted to replace the starter with the battery still connected, at some point the - and + touched. This fried the diode in the harness and cooked the PME. So I replaced the PME and diode along with the keypad and a basic tune up. Since then the boat has ran pretty well with the occasional electrical gremlin. Last season I started having some fuel issues but was able to determine it was the regulator.

Each spring I usually take on some kind of project to breathe some life back into the boat. At this point almost every piece of upholstery has been replaced. Along with the carpet being replaced I chose to use hydroturf in some areas over carpet to help prevent mold and moisture being retained. I have added an over the tower bimini removed the shower and heater as well as the ballast system.

Some of the things left on the list are a new stereo system, new ballast set up, and although I restored the trailer 4 years ago I will most likely be replacing that next season.
