2000 Air Nautique - finally!

My first post and my first Nautique. Thanks for all the knowledge shared on this great site. I hope to share some feedback in the future. Just had our first outing this past week. Here's some pics!

Nice looking boat, appears as new, nice find. Notice that the mirror is on the wrong side. Enjoy the ride.

Thanks. Bottom skins have been replaced except bow area, and trailer is new as of 2013. I spent probably about 30hrs detailing it this spring! Mirror is attached to the middle window, just open in the pics.

Looks great. Did you do work to the Gel Coat? What all did you do?

Thanks! Yes, power polished with porter cable 7424 on lowest setting, wool pads, and Megiuars marine one step compound. Then waxed by hand with meguiars premium marine wax. I need to do some wet sanding for a few deep scratches but that will have to wait. I also cleaned the vinyl with boat bling vinyl sauce, and then dressed it with condition sauce. I also use hot sauce on the gel coat after boating to remove water spots. Been happy with all these products. One new thing I found out is that 303 protectant is awesome on tires. Lasts forever. Perfect deep black without too much shine and doesn't attract the dust. And has uv blocker so they last longer from dry rot hopefully. Hope that wasn't too much detail! Hah.

I have the exact same boat, but with the more classic black striping. Had never seen one in blue yet, super nice!! Emjoy it!!

Never too much info... also never too many pics. I use LA's Totaly Awesome for cleaning the vinyl. then Babe's Seat Saver... smells coconuty. I usually do my gel coat once a year, I was wondering what products you use. I may switch to Maguires... Thanks for the info.
