Originally posted by fb_riderI have basically the same boat. I had the same iissue with the gauges. The fuel guage is available for $80 but the oil pressure is not. The good news is that they are wired in series - when I replaced my fuel gauge the oil pressure started working too. If not, you can get it rebuilt by the manufacturer for about $50.
One great mod was to replace the manual ballast valves with electronic red hat valves - makes life so much easier.
Congrats on the purchase. Let me know if you need more info.

Good talking to you last night Chris. This is all I can find on the red hat valves - maybe Jeff can dig up some more. There's a picture on the5th or 6th page https://www.planetnautique.com/vb5/f...t-valves/page5 Also I just noticed your comment about the ballast gauge. I'd be willing to be it's the connector near the tank that goes to the sending unit. Enjoy your boat and feel free to reach out with any questions!2004 Super Air Nautique 210 Team Edition

Great looking boat in great shape with low hours. Do not change the exterior look of the boat, it looks great the way it is. Most of the graphics on the newer boats are too busy and detract from great lines of the boat. Occasionally the manufacture gets it right from the factory and that would be the case here. Un-seen changes that make life easier or sound enhancements as you state you already have are great. Any major changes you make frequently devalue the boat and limit the audience you may sell to in the future. Enjoy the ride. Bitchen boat.

Currently m Perfect Pass works great. Is it worth the upgrade $$? What does it do that my current Perfect Pass does not do?

I previously owned one. I pulled the hard tanks in the belly and the rear and replaced them with sacs. 750's beside the motor and a 580 in the belly. You have to pull the fuel tank to remove the belly hard tank but it is worth it. It is not that difficult either. I also upgraded to impeller pumps. No more messing with getting the pumps to prime or the cheap plastic valves from the factory not working. I would also put a 13.5 x 14.25 prop on. Much better hole shot when fully weighted.
