Andy, good to hear from you, your old old super sport is located in Lebanon, TN. Another member purchased it last year and is having a good time with it. As far as the engine goes, I've only put about 4 or 5 hours on it so far, but it seems to not have quite as much torque as the GT-40. Of course that probably has a lot to do with the fact that I repropped the GT-40 and the one on my Excal is the stock Team prop. Excal is smooth though.

Did the previous owner tell you it has been in saltwater? The xgames were in Long Beach Stadium which is salt water. Probably not a big deal if that was the only time.

Yea this was to his knowledge the only use of the boat in saltwater.

I'm sure you are correct but I thought MC always pulled the X-games? I know there are a bunch of early 2000 Xstars with the "Official Towboat of the X-Games" sticker on the transom. Google was no help, I guess I will have to look close at the clip of Harf's winning run in Defy which I am pretty sure is from 05 and see if I can spot your sweet boat. I will post up a screen cap if I see it.

NICE 2005 SAN. I too have a 2005 SAN in blue and gray and I love it. Is that a trail rite trailer? If so, do you have problems on steep ramps getting the bow above the bow roller?

It is a trail rite, and no haven't had that problem. I back the trailer in so that the fenders are just slightly underwater and i have a 2 inch drop on my receiver. seems to work well so far.

Like the new boat. I'm enjoying the 98 super sport still. It's not in Lebanon now though. I have it at our lake house
in Alabama on Lake martin. Spent last week down there with the kids wake boarding. I thought you bought a g23 last year. Did you sale it already?

To me, it is beautiful, fun and affordible model ever built. Being boatless for 2 years just got myself another '02 Super Sport. Now I'll definitely hold to it longer. I so regreded selling 98 SS back then. Hopefully Swelch enjoying it
