You wont save much money by going with aerators. I just wanted one hole in the bottom of the boat and i wanted to drain out the side. Also they are easy to replace and dont draw a ton of amps to operate. Either way, wakemakers is the way to go.

yea that's what I figured out today there isn't a big difference in price with aerator vs puppys....but removed all interior today and ordered new carpet..dropping off vinyl this weekend to get redone. Also got 3 sets of wetsound 6.5s coming and still debating on what towers to run..and putting order in with wakemakers this week

only thin I didn't remove today Is the side panel that the shifter Is in and the radio..how do you remove the gear selector?

It sounds like you are trying to do everything "right" on this boat so dont cheap on tower speakers. Find some used pro80s,485s,410s or rev8/10s on craigslist (be patient) or buy them new. You wont be disappointed.

Ps they look great on our FCT towers. See delmages boat as well as my own.

Great looking boat. Good luck cleaning and updating it.

Why are you planning to pull the windshield off? Are you getting it powder coated?

I think the throttle handle can be removed by unscrewing the philips head at the base of the handle. I have always assumed this is how you do it but I have never needed to try. Let me know what you find because I need to get that piece reupholstered in the spring as well.

Well first reason is the glass doesn't line up well where the foldaway glass is folded down kinda needs pulled into place and I want to tint the front windshield and I would rather take my guy the glass and not my boat..and the handle comes out after you remove that small Allen in the bottom of the handle and the center push button screw..I got it off this morning...and now time to
order new head unit and clean everything up

To remove the Throttle handle there is an Allen screw in direct line with the handle on the bottom of the shaft. You need to remove the neutral button with a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the Allen screw and then the handle will slip off. If you think of a clock, the handle is at 12 the screw is at 6.

I noticed on the test ride the steering felt kinda tight. I've never driven one of these so not sure how it should feel. On the trailer it spins pretty good except for last two turns it's tight and I hear a noise from rudder under boat? Need cable or repack?

Already did lol...the boat was well taken care of on outside so not a lot was needed but I do high end details as my side job..so that was cake I had a couple scratches that took a little sanding to remove but most was worked out with my buffer...I'm going to wrap the boat anyway but I wanted to polish it first..now I have to wip it down with wax remover and get it ready for vinyl to get here

yeap. new cable. now's a good time to do it with everything out of the boat. that's 1/2 the time. it's not a difficult job at all. i hear some people tie wire/cable before pulling the old one through. i just cut the bitter end off of the cable by the rudder so it doesn't hang on anything coming through. cut all zip ties in ski locker and pull out the helm side. i didn't bother routing the new cable through the tube, i just laid it next to the fuel tank on top of the fuel tank brackets.
