Well, I finally got everything finished up on my new 210 this weekend and thought I would post some pics. I like to make my boats "my own," so I did a few mods to help it stand apart from all the rest. I generally like to keep things pretty clean and that is what I tried to do with this boat.
The first pic is what the boat looked like when I bought it. The graphics had to go, so I removed them and went with the black with chrome outline 2008 decals. I then removed the rear vents and had them painted black to break up all of the white on the top deck. I also had the windows tinted 20%.
Some other additions I made to the boat are 4 Exile XM7 HLCD tower speakers. I haven't had a chance to listen to them yet, but they look sick and they're clamping system is by far the best in the business. There are no wires showing and you can swivel the speakers 360 degrees...pretty slick! I'm still mounting the amp, so I'll report back when I hear them, but from what I've heard, they will be plenty loud:-) I also added a Acme 1235 prop to push around the fly high integrated ballast I put in and also 400 lbs. of lead. Lastly, I did the "upgrade" to zero off and installed the new antenna and had the software updated.
I just wanted to thank Terry at Dockside Marine for getting me into a boat I never thought I would have. Also Mark at N3 Boatworks in Indianapolis for his help...these guys have some of the sickest custom Nautiques in the U.S. and know what they are talking about. And also Brian at Exile Audio for the help with the tower speakers and amp...can't wait to hear these things and like I said, slickest mounting system in the tower speaker market.
