Well the lettering is a long story.... I took it to a sign guy who said he could match the original in vinyl. Needless to say he butchered it - I was embarrassed to trailer it home. Once home I peeled off the vinyl and carefully masked off the original lettering - you could still see the edges pretty clear as the gel coat was better protected where the lettering was. I did a bit of research to find that the original paint was apparently Rust Oleum brand. So after careful masking I went to town and sprayed it - Rust Oleum Navy Blue - Same as trailer. It was a fun project and I'm glad I kept the original design.
Thanks for the kind words - I'll get some Interior Shots as soon as dewinterized.

Dang, nice job!! That's one sweet-looking boat. I'd love to see the interior shots.
While the paint that was used might not be OEM, I think saying the "wrong" paint was used is a matter of perspective. Obviously the boat looks great so how can that be wrong?'08 Super Air Nautique 210

Very Nice, looking forward to interior pics. Keep up the good work, someones got to keep these old classics going.
Are you sure you have the correct platform brackets on there? Looks like it's not sitting properly.

The platform on my '01 kind of has a downward slope, too. Not sure if it's a sign of age or if it came that way. Maybe I just need to lose some weight. Yellow_Flash_Colorz:'08 Super Air Nautique 210

76NautiquePete, if you're going for the full-on restore look you might still be able to score the round AWSA decals that were right after the USA stickers. I went through a similar exercise getting a '79 SN cleaned up and spent quite a bit of time tracking down both the USA and AWSA decals.'08 Super Air Nautique 210

Thanks for the comments. The paint is "basic" rust oleum - not the Industrial strength stuff - Been happy with the durability. The platform slope is honestly something I never even noticed or thought about . Brackets are specified for this boat and year. I will track down the AWSA decals - does anyone know where to find the original white and black plastic script "correct craft" name plates that were on each side where I have the Nautiques decal?
