    2022 Nautique Regatta Dates

    Official WWA Press Release:
Orlando, FL (December 6, 2021) - Nautique Boats along with the World Wake Association (The WWA) are excited to announce the 2022 schedule of the Nautique Regattas. There will be a total of three Regattas across the United States in 2022, as an exclusive experience for Nautique boat owners and are FREE* to attend. These events have become weekends that Nautique families look forward to each year as they enjoy a fun-filled weekend on and off the water with experiences that will create memories and relationships for years to come.

The Nautique Regattas are an exclusive experience tailored specifically for Nautique boat owners. Throughout the weekend, owners can participate in educational sessions, tie up lines, a GromFest for the kids to show off their skills, a weekend long Poker Run, evening themed banquets, and giveaways from the top brands in the industry that are associated with Nautique. One of the most sought-after aspects of the weekend is the ability for owners to schedule a private demo with a Nautique Team athlete, either on their boat or while demoing the newest in the Nautique lineup.

“The Nautique Regattas encompass all that it means to be part of the Nautique family,” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “Every year I look forward to connecting with our owners from all over the world at these amazing events and I love experiencing life on the water with the customers that keep pushing us to move forward. Owning a Nautique is an unmatched experience, it means that you’re part of the Nautique family and the Regatta events allow us to all celebrate that with one another.”

The Nautique Southeast Regatta will kick things off returning to Lake Lanier in Buford, Georgia. After a successful first year in Rockwall, Texas the South Central Regatta will again return to Rockwell on Lake Ray Hubbard. The Nautique team will then head to a brand new location on Lake Havasu for the much anticipated Nautique Southwest Regatta at the Nautical Beachfront in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

The Nautique Regattas represent what watersports are all about, bringing owners, families, and top brands together for an experience like no other. Nautique and the WWA plan to give back to their customers and the watersports community with more unique experiences and added Regattas for years to come. To join the fun in 2022 at the Nautique Southwest Regatta, Nautique Southeast Regatta or the Nautique South Central Regatta visit: thewwa.com/regatta

It would be cool if they held one up north. Lake Wawasee has a resort on the water. Perfect for an event like this. There are 4 Nautique dealers in northern Indiana. Nautiques are everywhere in the midwest.

Makes sense- but from a business model why waste money where the market is saturated. Sales must be stronger in the south.

Hopefully I get to go to the SC Regatta this year... I found out the day before the 2021 Regatta that the wife had the Rona so we stayed at home instead.

I'll be there. I am really hoping to have the Sea Nautique 2700 functional enough to make the trip.

Interesting. That's not the case in MN. This is Mastercraft and Malibu country. Of course, Marine Max is the only dealer in the area.

For those of you familiar with the area the SE Regatta is being held... I don't see much in the offerings of boat ramps to put a boat in at Lanier Islands. Where is a good place to put in for the weekend? I see Big Creek boatramp near Holiday Marina which would make you drive all the way around the island to get to the event, or a small ramp at Shoual Creek campground that I'm sure is only accessible if you're staying at the campground.

Just now seeing this post but as to suggestions as to where to launch a boat for the regatta you've got lots of choices. As a local who lives on Lanier I WOULD NOT use the ramp just before the Islands entrance as your boat will get ROCKED trying to load/unload it. Most boaters on this lake wait until they get to the NO WAKE Zone buoys before chopping the throttle. It's I'd use Burton Mill, Big Creek Boat Ramp, Van Pugh ( which is RIGHT next to Marty & Wendy's house if you're an Ozark Fan) East Bank Park Ramp. Those ramps are close to Flowery Branch, Buford, 985 side. If you're staying in Cumming off 400 then Mary Alice Park has a nice boat ramp and Tidwell is also close by and across from Cocktail Cove. If you're getting there early and wanna eat Lake side then Twisted Oar is Great, Fishtails is fair and in VERY calm water, Pelican Petes at Port Royal is a local favorite as it's a Tiki Bar on the water and it's a busy place. Food is mediocre IMO and overpriced but the ambience is why people go there a lot. Pigtails at Aqualand is one of 2 BBQ joints and docking flat out sucks. Your precious baby will get beaten to death if you don't have bumpers down the entire side. Never eaten there for that reason. The other BBQ joint is at Bald Ridge Marina and is in calm water and a stones throw from the "Morfoot Marina". I've eaten there many times and the Q is pretty good. I'd skip the food at Landshark on LLI because the food sucks and the service is lousy. It took 30 minutes last fall to get two waters and two beers to our table and 30 mins for our food to arrive and then they screwed that up so unless they changed drastically.... Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Lanier is a HUGE playground and you'll be sharing the water with 40 foot yachts. The lake gets to rocking on weekends and by all means keep your head on a swivel and expect the unexpected. Us Lanier Dwellers let the weekend warriors have it on Saturday and Sunday because it's Crazy out there. Barney comes in different uniforms from the DNR to local Sheriff boats. Better make sure you've got a preserver for all on board and if your kids are under 13 they better have it on as they will pull you over for that reason alone. Yes there are several drownings every year in my "backyard' but 90% of the time it's the victim didn't have a jacket on. Lanier is deep so have a long anchor line at least 75'. Not trying to scare anyone anyway from this event as it's a blast as I've been to both SE Regattas but want any fellow Nauti owners to be forewarned and be prepared.

If you can't do it in, on, or behind a Nautique..... It just ain't worth doing!
