I have a Walter RV-26 V-Drive ,but on my unit someone previously removed (or disangaged) the hydraulic clutch system. Because of that, I now have to engage and disengage the drive manually, and it’s very hard to shift into gear.
Could you please explain how the hydraulic system on the RV-26 normally works?
Does the V-Drive have its own internal hydraulic pump for clutch pressure, or do I need to install an external oil pump?
How is the hydraulic system normally connected (oil lines, valves, control lever)?
What parts would I need to restore the original hydraulic operation?
In short, I’d like to understand how to properly engage the hydraulics again and what exactly provides the hydraulic pressure in this model.
