Now but not always! Someone will know the exact year but I believe it was in the mid 80's when the PCM trans came out and CC started using them. Don't forget that CC goes back to 1925. Lots of trans's were used. Besides the Velvet there was the Dearbomatic on the Interceptors. Before that the Gray marines typically used Paragon gearsets. The early Chrysler's used their own marine trans and then later used the Velvets. My 54 has a Chris Craft engine re labeled as a Correct Craft and it has the Paragon gear set.

AFAIK neither PCM nor Indmar make trannies - they get them from ZF Hurth, Borg, etc. If PCM is supplying transmissions, I'll bet they are relabeled OEM from the above mfgs.Originally posted by DanielCI thought Correct Crafts used PCM transmissions.

Pretty sure PCM manufactures their own trannies. Theyre a different animal than the BW's or ZF's.Originally posted by oldslalomskierAFAIK neither PCM nor Indmar make trannies - they get them from ZF Hurth, Borg, etc. If PCM is supplying transmissions, I'll bet they are relabeled OEM from the above mfgs.Originally posted by DanielCI thought Correct Crafts used PCM transmissions.1990 Ski Nautique
