    waxing my boat?

I waxed my boat today and looks great. However the very bottom of the hull is white and looks like I didnt get all the wax off. I have rubbed and rubbed. I put more on and wiped again and helps very little. I think the white just may be oxidized. ANy suggestions to get this looking better. Its the part that is in the water.

    RE: waxing my boat?

It sounds like it's oxidized are you the origanal owner? Is it a large area or small just a thought could it be a repair, if not try a rubbing compound 3M automotive is good and wet sanding would work too if your familar with the process.

      RE: waxing my boat?

I am the second owner. I put several more coats of wax on and looking better. I put 3 coats of wax on the whole boat. It is shining like nobodys bizzy. I shampoo the the carpet and played with my amps. I spent 8hr today on her and she looks nice. I took pictures but cant find the cord to connect the computer. MarkP thanks for the advice. I dont think its bad enough for the wet sand process.
