03 SANTE; flow-rite valves-who to contact for replacements

Hello everyone! Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to pick up a 2003 SANTE, I love the boat.

However, during our first rides this weekend and after reading on this site, I realized that the boat didn't have the Flow-Rite ballast valves replaced with the TH Marine valves under the recall in 2003.

My question is: Who should I contact to get these replacement valves? Will CC help me out with this or am I going to have to buy them independently? I bought the boat off of a private owner, so no dealer was involved.

Also, the blower was making a garbage disposal sounding noise at times this weekend. Where should I look for a replacement blower motor? Is this an easy item to change out?

Not sure if CC will cover the valves for a second owner (they might). Try contacting your local dealer. Since you're in Northern VA, you probably deal with one of the dealers in MD, right? If you end up replacing them yourself, follow this procedure.

The blower motors are easy to replace. Order one from White Lake and have at it.

Thanks for the quick reply Jeff. I noticed you are in VA as well, do you have a reputable dealer that you work with in the area? I was actually at Lake Anna this weekend, great lake in my opinion (especially since it is heated).

Chessie Marine is great. If you feel like heading south, White Lake is great too.
