Pleasurecraft 1.258 Trans. Dipstick

I have not been able to find a part number for the appropriate dipstick for my transmission.

The handle of mine snapped off at the top of the threads with the stick still in. I was able to super glue it back together in place and unscrew it out but I don't fancy relying on that for the long haul. Especially since it appears to have been badly cross-threaded in the past and really doesn't want to thread in neatly.

Everything I can find online seems to indicate a 1:1 or 1.23:1 trans for the available part numbers, but the plate on mine clearly says 1.258:1.
The trans is Model IRM40-2A, which also doesn't give much for results other than some used parts for sale.

Can anyone help me out, or at least tell me whether the newer and unbelievably expensive R041069A for the 1.23:1 trans will work?

A 40-2A is a newer version of the original 40-A 1.23:1. Rumor has it that PCM never actually made a 1.23:1 transmission, because the number of teeth on the gears don't allow for that specific ratio. The rumor is that they finally corrected the math on the newer versions, like the one you seem to have here from 2015.

Other newer ones show 1.26:1 (rounding, I assume). My current 2005 196 has that on the transmission.

All of that said, I have never come across one with a screw-in dipstick.
