    2007 SN 196 Hull Leak

I have water coming into boat at the "L" bracket located under the gas tank (see pic below). The water is coming from the two bolts in the foreground. When trying to tighten the nuts on the studs, it turns out the studs are loose and spinning with the nut. I tried to apply upward pressure on the bracket to try and give pressure on the studs, but it still rotated when tightening the nut.

I have the boat on a lift on a lake, so I can't easily look at the underside. If anyone could let me know how that L-bracket attaches to the hull I would appreciate it. I wouldn't think they would through bolt to the underside of the hull, but there was water streaming through on the right side.

    Thanks, Mack

    good afternoon,
Those are your strut bolts. check and make sure the strut has not come loose from the hull bottom. hopefully you will only need to reseal and tighten the bolts..

That looks like your strut mounting. The strut mount and bolts can be re-bedded with 3M 5200.
