I’m looking to get more top end out of my 210 with the 350. I don’t mind sacrificing hole shot in the process Currently the boat tops out at 38-39. I like to barefoot and would like to get a more MPH. Acme has suggested I go with a 381 vs the 1579 I currently have on the boat but couldn’t give me an idea of how much of an MPH increase I should expect. Anyone have any experience with this change and what kind of increase they were able to achieve? Thanks in advance for the info.

ACME doesn't know the total drag on the hull @ speed = X mph, which is limited by max HP. X being your top speed. Reduce weight, clean the bottom, X speed will go up.
14 pitch is steep the RPM's are too high for a speed run. So for sure going to a 381 will be more comfortable vs racing the motor
I forget my top speed on the 381 but it was fast, mid 40's, but I don't think I had it pegged. lightly loaded SV211. It was a fun prop for lake cruising. I think Nautique wanted that I/O sports boat performance out of the SV211 "limited" pairing it to the 381... that was achieved.
I didn't like the 381 prop for slalom skiing and found that the diameter was the problem. I just had the 381 cut down to 13" and tuned (479 spec) and it's fantastic for skiing. Low wake, low rooster, lower rpms. The 645 is a great all-rounder, but as a guess would knock ~2 mph off.
My props are
1433 Surf
645 IDK what to do
Chopped 381 (479) Ski & cruise

Got my chopped 381* on for speed test today, about 5150 rpm running 46-47 mph, bit more to go. Hitting 40 was comfortable; this is the prop I personally would use for footin'. I accelerated to 38 when I used to tumble up with the 196.
From PCM: A one-inch change in either the pitch or diameter of a given propeller will generally change engine RPM by 150 to 250 RPM.Last edited by FMSKI; 3 weeks ago.
