    Prop shaft seal

I just bought a 2016 200. I was looking at the prop shaft and no water is leaking . It doesn't look like any dripless seal I have ever seen. What do you think?

That's not a dripless shaft seal. It has packing in it. Sounds like someone didn't adjust it properly. It's likely been running really hot, so probably a good idea to replace the packing and adjust it properly.

Yea, that needs to be dripping. Someone likely "fixed the leak" by overtightening it.
