    Prop shaft seal

I just bought a 2016 200. I was looking at the prop shaft and no water is leaking . It doesn't look like any dripless seal I have ever seen. What do you think?

Standard shaft seal with packing. Simplicity.

technically, not a dripless seal - should get a couple drips a min to keep things cool. Might get them when shaft rotating - should remain cool, and 2-3 drips a min, IINM.
      +1 to behind - "simplicity"

does it have a locking nut and packing nut (hex/round bronze fittings)? If so, it’s a stuffing box.

It should be leaking a little. It needs to leak a little to keep itself cool. It's overtightened.
