Check engine light is on, but not getting any codes

I have a 2004 Nautique 210 with a 330 PCM Excalibur engine. The check engine light is on. I connected a led bulb and did the testing method to see what code it would give me. All I get is code 12 which means it’s ready, then no codes after that. When I take it out of testing mode and turn the engine on, the light disappears. In the manual it indicates that this means that there’s no persistent or intermittent codes to read, BUT the check engine light stays on. What does this mean? Here’s a video

Only two things can trip that light -- low oil pressure or high engine temperature (or failed SWITCHES for either).

It is likely that either the oil pressure SWITCH (not sensor) or the temperature SWITCH (not sensor) have failed.

Thanks NautiqueJeff! Are you familiar with the part numbers and how to check if they are functional? Would I just bypass them and see if the light goes away? I believe I found the part number for the oil switch - R020015A
for the engine temp I found a sensor and sender. I assume the sender is the switch? The part number I found was R020003

So I called the dealer to verify and they said there’s no engine temp switch, there’s a sender that is is the manifold and there’s a sensor that’s in the thermostat, but I don’t think that one is actually connected to any electronics.
