My 1 year old Optima battery was drained today. Not enough juice to start the engine without first nursing it with a booster pack. The engine compartment exhaust fan circuit breaker had to be reset, as it didn't work initially. Have had no prior issues. So a bit of a mystery as to what drained the battery after 4 - 5 days parked under the lift. The alternator is putting out a solid 14V. That's all the information I have at the moment. Any guidance on what I should check/test or otherwise investigate would be appreciated. I have a family event coming up on August 9 and hope to diagnose the cause prior to then.

Does this boat have the master on/off toggle switch? Do you turn if off when parked?

Factory stereo. It has the master switch. Looks like I need to switch that to all off going forward as a precaution. But never had an issue last season, and none this season till now. So mystery remains.

ALWAYS use the toggle switch to All Off when the boat is sitting. If the boat is sitting in the water, use the Bilge On. That should solve the battery drain. (Yes, you still should find out where the 'lectric leak is)
