I'd really closely inspect that upholstery - you're interested in how sun damaged it is. Big $$ to replace and it's a negotiating point. You want all the surfaces to be soft and supple. Check the seat edges where they touch each other as for some reason those areas loose their flexibility first. Look closely at all the stitching for signs of cracks and/or the stitching starting to fail.

It may just need a good scrub...but I'd question that a bit as the boat's clearly had a big detail and if they could have cleaned up the upholstery...I bet they would have. Feels like something else is up.

I did a FaceTime with the dealer and what the original owner did was remove the cups and silicon the screws into the grommets. Are these covers worth trying to find and replace?

I haven't scoured the ad, but $28K seems pretty good to me.

Those numbers wouldn't scare me. Partly because the greater than 10% variance is caused by a couple of cylinders on the higher side, as opposed to cylinders on the low side. Lowest numbers in the 150s is pretty good.

They are willing to sell the boat for 28K. Is that a more reasonable price for a bot of this vintage? Would you suggest a survey?

I don't think that's terrible I assume that is hot? I've had more variance in cold numbers , little pricey I had to replace the gauges on my 07, which cost about 1500, and trailer brakes for another 1000

2006 Nautique 210 Compression Test Results

I'm looking at a 2006 210 with 470 hours. The dealer sent me the following compression test results. The high and low are just outside the standard 10% variance. Should I be concerned? This is an Excaliber 330 with a 13.25 x 16 prop.

I appreciate anyone's advice if I'm chasing the wrong boat here.
