    2021 G25 Paragon - So far it's a lemon

We waited 8 months for our new G25 Paragon that was replacing an amazing G23. After 8 months it finally arrived. We took it out for about 2 hours because it delivered late in the afternoon on a Saturday. Took it out the next morning and within 20 minutes, the boat would not turn left. We limped it back to our marina using the stern thruster to steer and were able to get it back on our lift. The dealer came out on Monday and noticed that the steering cable had come completely out of the steering assist box. New parts ordered and put on within 4 days.
We took the boat out the following Saturday and within 30 minutes we had a warning saying "Intake Air Temperature Higher Than Expected" and the engine went into limp mode. The error would not clear and back to the dock we went at 3 miles an hour. Dealer comes out again and finds that a pump on the engine is burned up. Pump is on backorder and now we wait. 3 weeks now that a brand new boat sits on a lift. I understand that the dealer is doing what they can but does Nautique even care or should we just expect this poor quality? Our 2016 had over 300 hrs and was flawless. Frustrated beyond belief.

Man that sucks, terrible luck... I do not believe Nautique doesn't care, not at all, but crap happens with cars/boats. Hopefully this is the last bad thing and it's smooth sailing from here. For me we ended up with a ruined shaft, strut, prop, and gel coat after an introduction with some rocks with 7 hours on the boat. We waited like 5 weeks for repairs/insurance crap so I get it, but it'll be worth it when you get out there and it is perfect. Stay positive.

I think you are a victim of the corona virus shortages and the extreme high tech in your boat . The days of fixing it yourself are gone . I think long term dependability is gone also. Ask how much this repair would cost if you were out of warranty?

tell sail and ski to pick the boat up from your dock, take to their location, wait for the parts, fix it, detail it. Then send a tech when they deliver the boat to the ramp, meet at the ramp, go enjoy it, another code, put it back on their trailer. you really have to make it a pain in the *** for them. You just bought a quarter million dollar ski boat, if its going to be a pain in the ***, make it theirs, not yours. They can charge nautique for all of the above. Ask for a loaner if its going to be three weeks.
