    2017 409 engine fault issue

Is anybody else having issues with getting this fault code: DTC 217 engine coolant temperature higher then expected stage 2. Source is the fuel sender.

2017 GS20 with 409. We get this error when the engine is cold. We usually get this error after we have used the boat. Let it sit for a few hours and then he code shows up on the next start. Puts us into limp home mode.

We cycle the power and all is good.
We do not get stage 1
    No alarms

Have looked up the code. Dealer sent us some things to check Mostly grounds.

    Not resolved.
Have it 7 times in 48 hours.

    All comments welcome.

Just had it at the dealership yesterday and all checked out okay. All sensors met specifications. Won't replace sensors at this time. Apparently it has to breakdown more before that can be done

Whatever happened? I’m seeing this message... stage 1... and stage 2.... “temp higher than expected”... shuts me down to limp.
