How do the bow side cushions release on a 1998 Air Nautique? Getting interior all redone. Everything else is out. Thx Tom

OK, it's not terrible but not really obvious either. Start with the port side. Lift the observers seat and crawl under there. You need to feel around for a Phillips head screw with one of those formed washers on it. It'll be closer to the gunwale than the center of the boat, about halfway up. Take that screw out. Same for the starboard side but a bit harder to find with wires and hoses all in there.Originally posted by tschwyn View Post
Next, the front. Go up to the very front of the boat and look under the edge of the cushion in the bow. Basically just over the opening in the bow where that triangle shaped cushion goes. You should see a metal tab sticking down. Take that screw out. Once all three of these are out, the entire "hoop" will lift up and out in one piece.
