Update on my fuel gauge. I sent it into Faria and they sent it back to me saying they don’t support these anymore. Does anyone know of a replacement. It would be nice to have the fuel gauge match the other gauges.

I asked Faria/Beede what I should do to replace the gauge and this is their reply:
Hello Scott, the part number is GE0022 and this serial bus gauge is obsolete, unavailable, and unrepairable.
The best fix is to bypass the gateway box and wire in an analog gauge.
I have attached is0151 that shows how the box is wired. The fuel sender goes into pin 1 of plug 14. The wire would normally be pink in color. You would run this wire up to the new analog gauge straight from the sender. Please see the attached is0008 for install instructions.
Here is a link to the current catalog. https://fariabeede.com/2-pages/aftermarket.php
Faria Beede aftermarket gauges come with studs on the back that require ring terminals. If your original gauges have plugs, you would need to clip the plugs off and add ring terminals for each of the main wires and one spade terminal for the light.
Faria Beede does not sell directly to customers, so if you see a part you would like to buy, Google the name Faria followed by the part numbers, and distributors will come up.
I hope this information is helpful, Paul
I bought this gauge on Amazon:
My old gauge looks like this:
Has anyone converted the original gauge to the analog (new) style gauge? I’m not very excited about cutting off the plugs and running a wire from the fuel sender to the gauge. Has someone else done this? Also, there are 8 pins on the old gauge and the new one has only 4 pins. Is there an easy way to do this?
