    Don't let 'em give you crap. I like to keep MY engine & compartment area clean, even to the point where I get in there and clean it. A dirty engine looks like junk. I do the same for as much of the bilge as I can reach. I've always taken pride on the appearance of my GT40, especially compared to the plain-looking, throttle-body injected Predator engine most of my buddy's rigs have. No "glamor" covers or plastic to dress them up. Very plain. As a matter of fact, I'm kinda suprised Grant hasn't taken to dollling his engine up with chrome plating, carbon fiber, etc. Sport boat guys do it, auto guys do it, what are you waiting on Grant? :grin:

      Just read this post from long ago, I have the same problem with a 2010 built Crusader 409 (SANTE 210 CE) . Very strong engine with a CHEAP sticker on the engine cover( or shroud). The decal is very faded and now peeling up. Can't seem to find one and it makes the whole engine look bad. Any tips out there?

      For AbunDiga909- did you ever get around to customizing a shroud? There are some amazing advances in "part printing" and shops that can make a 3D CAD model of your old shroud, let you customize it, then mill it out of various materials. No idea on cost for this but all of these prices are getting less expensive as technology advances. The major consideration in my opinion would be weight (beyond design spec) and vibration tolerance.
