I wanted to see if anyone has experienced this... I have a circuit fault on NSS Port... has the orange triangle next to it on the diagnostics page.... have tried to reset by hitting reset button, cycled battery off/on 3 times + start button, pressed circuit board buttons.... and nothing has worked... waiting to hear back from dealer but hoping it is simple so I wanted to put this out there. They think it might be electric actuator but checking on it... the only modification I did was add an LED light to the transom grills that light up when the switch surf button is touched but this takes so little power I can't imagine this is causing it but I guess it is possible.... anyone else experience anything like this? Thanks

Checked it today and the one LED had one of the screws we used to fasten it go through the outer wire coating and was touching the wire... corrected it and works just fine again.Originally posted by ddipert View PostIt doesn't sound right that a LED would cause an issue. But I would undo what your have done to see if that clears up the issue. Are you sure you have good electrical connections on the work you did?

Yes if you surfing port side and want to transfer to starboard then there is a strip of 9 blue LEDS inside the port vent that flash to let you know the switch surf has been pressed, same on the other side. Sometimes there is fumbling of fingers when you signal the driver to switch so this insures you can know for sure... the 2015 Malibus will have a horn that will sound and the tower lights will flash 3 times to tell the rider then the button has been pressed.Originally posted by robertsmcfarland View Postso the light come on to tell the surfer port or starboard???? sounds like a needed feature...
