Zr 450 Pcm v-drive transmission lubricant questions?

I want to change my transmission fluid but I can not seem to find any mobiltrans shc 50 synthetic transmission lubricant (r190250)? I have a zr450 v drive. Can anyone help?
Also do people typically prefer the sae 15w-40 synthetic for oil?

Why changing? PCM states not to chamge unless there is an issue.

I second the v drive statement above. You don't need to change it unless you're having problems. Down here in AZ we use 10W40 full synthetic. I have a few friends that run 5W40 full synthetic in their PCM.

I was just told it was supposed to be done. That's why I have you guys here! I wonder about the heat difference with recommending oils. I am in WA and temperatures can fluctuate a lot. Typically over 50 though.

Are you taking about changing trans fluid or the v-drive fluid? The transmission uses regular transmission fluid dextron III or IV but the v-drive uses the 50 wt synthetic. they are two separate units like a four wheel drive truck transmission is separate unit from the transfer case.
