I'm finding that storage is at a premium in my '04 211. My girls like to kneeboarding but they don't fit in any compartments. I thought I would try this rig up, but I'm not 100% sure how strong these Bimini covers are. I think it's okay for the downward force, but I'm curious about the lateral stress. Has anybody tried anything like this before? If you have how has it worked out for you?

I thought of that, but I was worried about marking my tower up, I could wrap an old towel around as a softener... Thanks, I'll maybe run out there this morning and look at it.Originally posted by Mikeski View PostStrap them on top of the tower, that's what I do with my surf boards, it works perfectly.
lol I was wondering about that. That looks pretty cool, thanks.Originally posted by ski4evr View Postmy bad! forgot the link to the kneeboard rack!

That looks awesome!! You don't get a lot of side to side hammering on choppy water? I might have to take my Bimini into an upholstery shop in the fall for this mod, unfortunately if I get a hole in my sock, my wife's definition of sewing is to toss it out and get some new ones, lolOriginally posted by Nautiquehunter View PostMy wife modified the bimini on my 08 210 to hold two surf boards . No problems with the support she had to enclose the front so they dont catch wind under the boards.
