ZR6 closed cooling system - flush kit necessary?

I have a 2007 SAN 236 TE with the ZR6 which has the closed cooling system. I'm running it in salt water, would it be benificial to instal a flush kit and flush it out after each use to salvage the exhaust manifolds and the heat exchanger?
I'm thinking I would install that inline with where the raw water before it goes into the heat exhanger using the flush pro. Is it really that simple on a closed cooling system, I've done it that way with motors that don't have the closed cooling it's pretty easy. I just want to make sure I'm not missing something for this new system. Any input is great.

You are definitely going to want to flush your risers and heat exchanger after running in salt. I am not too familiar with all of the closed cooled plumbing but I imagine if the risers or heat exchanger fails that it could allow raw water into the block. If the heat exchanger is the first thing in the system that raw water gets to then I think your plan sounds good.

Not sure on the ZR-6, but I have closed cooling on the GT-40 and the fresh water flush is actually the first thing in the system. I installed the flush kit first in line before the raw water pump. I believe most models, even with the closed cooling have the v-drive, transmission cooler and manifolds raw water cooled. I run in brackish and flush after each use.

I re-read my post and sorry if I mislead but flipflop is right that it should go before the raw water pickup.
