Hey all -
I just did my standard winterization on engine and tranny this week and realized I have never winterized a bag ballast system before. I pulled all of the bags and will store those out of the boat (to allow the carpet to dry and come back), but is there anything else I should be doing besides making sure all my hoses are empty? Anything to the impellers?
Thanks!
JB

i would dump the water from the ballast puppies and blow the hoses. Just dump the bags out as much as you can. if it freezes it wont hurt them anyway. I have aerator pumps and i just blow thrpugh the hoses to get the majority of the water out.
