Has anyone replaced the fuel sender on their boat (specifically an older Super Sport Nautique, mine is a '97), or do you have access to a microfiche online that I can look up which part I will need?
My sender crapped out on me over the winter, and I'm finally tired of guessing how full the boat is. I don't know which one I would need from the Nautiqueparts.com website.
Here is the one I 'think' I need: http://www.nautiqueparts.com/fueltan...itpre2000.aspx
However, the one in that picture is different from my sending unit - the shaft that runs perpendicular to the top plate on my sending unit is a lot longer (but don't know if that matters)... any ideas?

Pulling the back seat out is simply two pins at the base and then lift the back seat rest up. The tank is right there. There are 2 or 3 support brackets that keep the tank in place with straps I believe. Relieve these straps and slide the tank forward. This is a good time to look at your wiring that is on the tank as well. 15 years of water on these wires will lead to corrosion.
