I'm running ny nautique in salt water. Can I flush it while in the water or I have to take it out? how often is good to do it?

You can flush it in the water but you'll have to close the main valve.

If you use the boat every day, flushing won't help.

If there are long gaps between use, flush it every time. Otherwise, flushing won't help.

As a kid, we had an i/o fishing boat. If we were going to fish again on Sunday, we didn't flush it Saturday night. Otherwise, we flushed it every time.

The neighbors loved us.

It will clear out the salt, ...only to be replaced again the next morning.

I guess at least it will not have as much salt when the flow stops and air voids appear. The air voids will corrode less if they were de-salted. What stays wet all night probably won't make a difference. What increases the corrosion rate is wet/dry/wet/dry/etc. Salty wet/dry/set/dry/wet/ is worse than fresh.

Seems like a lot of work. You should install a closed cooling system so at most your exchanger is decomposing...not your entire engine.
