Here is the update. Havent heard from PCM yet. I did install the impeller in the old pump and ran it on the hose. It sucked water pretty good at higher RPMs but wouldnt suck worth a crap at idle. I guess I am figuring out why it was recalled. I am grounded untill I get a new water pump.

I have never had so many issues with a boat before in my life. No kidding, I am getting ready to sell it and change brands. I have had way too many problems come up with this boat to be anything normal. I wish I wouldnt have given up my sport. I put more money into the gateway failure than I did in that entire boat.

I think you got done hard by the dealer you bought it from. Despite the fact that it probably won't do you any good, I would at least be venting your frustrations on them.

The dealer would be happy for me to consider changing brands, they were a malibu dealer. I have known quite a few people with malibus and with the problems they had with them, I wouldnt touch one with a 10 foot pole. Although their boat have been more reliable than mine to date. I have had more forced off-water days because of this boat than days I wanted to be on the water. My ratio better turn around.

Mark is setting me up with the waterpump through PCM. They are doing a warranty adjustment and I will be getting it for cheap. First good news I have had for a while. That and Mark called me and told me my new color matched tandem trailer is in as well so hopefully the weather will be decent enough for me tomorrow to make the change.

I would have bought it from a CC dealer, but there wasnt one around that had a SAN. This one was my dream boat. The color combo, the year, the options, everything. That doesnt come around too often. I also got it at a good price so this makes it not so bad to swallow. But it wasnt that good lol.

Nowhere but up from here. Ballast system going in this weekend.
