I have a 2001 Air Nautique. While traveling to the lake I am noticing that fuel has came out of the fuel vent hole, Is there any way to keep fuel from spilling out while going down the highway?

Do not fill the tank completely. Boat gas tanks do not have an expansion space like your car. -

Same thing happens to my 2001 SAN when I fill the tank. Can gas damage the gel coat?Comment

Dont over fill the tank, DA!

No, gas will not damage the gelcoat, but can discolor it. Do not "top off" the tank and you issue should lessen or go away. Jut wipe off any gas spill from the gelcoat and re-wax when you have the opportunity and you should be ok.Comment
